Nestled beneath the San Jacinto mountains, the Yara Hotel is a 10-room boutique desert oasis in the heart of Palm Springs. Inspired by the natural beauty of the desert, the hotel blends Balinese and Mediterranean influences with artisanal motifs and light, airy interiors. The identity owns a sense of tranquility through its warm palette, simplistic typography, and sense of balance.

With an emphasis on providing peaceful retreats to escape the fast-paced world, a series of original illustrations were crafted to bring a sense of serenity to the brand while complimenting the organic materials of the property. The design system includes everything from wayfinding and mural work, to menus and merchandise, enhancing the allure of a relaxing desert sanctuary.
